Day 4 - Bay of Islands, New Zealand

Discover indigenous New Zealand Maori culture in a land of sparkling seas and pristine beauty. Bay of Islands is a sub-tropical paradise of clear blue water, hundreds of undeveloped islands, diverse wildlife, and historical significance. The pristine oceans, warm weather, and many animal species attract nature lovers from around the globe. Take an eco-cruise and discover the area’s dolphins, penguins, marlins, whales, and bird life. Journey into a beautiful cave with majestic rock formations and glow worms. Kayak, sail, swim, or sunbathe on one of the many beaches. Day 9 - Raiatea, French Polynesia

Discover the mountainous island of Raiatea, one of French Polynesia’s most exquisite destinations, considered sacred by the local people. With some of the world’s most lush, unspoiled nature, ribbon-like waterfalls, and pristine lagoons, it’s easy to understand Raiatea enchants those who visit.On a South Pacific cruise that calls at Raiatea, you’ll discover idyllic, white-sand beaches fringing the islet of Motu Iriru, or have a chance to join a snorkel or dive adventure at Te Mara Nui. Explore ancient ruins at Marae Taputapuatea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shop for traditional clothing, handmade sculptures, or fresh fruit at the Mercato Coperto di Uturoa. Papeete is an excellent home base from which to enjoy a French Polynesia cruise to explore the culture, beaches, and milky blue lagoons. You can also travel inland to the magnificent Afareaitu Falls.

Home to most of Oahu’s population, the port city of Honolulu extends across the southern shores of the island and offers multiple fascinating attractions. From Pearl Harbor to Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in the United States, there’s so much to discover on a cruise to Honolulu. Visit the Honolulu Museum of Art for beautiful art collections that reflect Hawaii’s contemporary cultural landscape, including superb Asian art and fascinating Pacific and Polynesian artifacts.
